Note: Bank Transfers in NZD - NZ Banks will apply a normal cut-off time (New Zealand time as stated in the BIC Directory) to instructions received from off shore to make payments in New Zealand Dollars. This indicates that the payment is to be made on the day on which those instructions are received in New Zealand. All payments received after cut-off time will be effected on a best endeavours basis only. Many New Zealand banks enter into bilateral agreements with their correspondents offering them a later cut-off time provided instructions can be processed on receipt and they are received as properly formatted S.W.I.F.T. messages.
All Customer Transfers and Bank Transfers in other currencies - In general, New Zealand banks are able to provide facilities for same day value NZD credited to non bank customers and, depending on relevant time zones, same day or next day value credits for customers in other currencies. All payments received after cut-off time will be effected on a best endeavours basis only.
